The FALLOW DEER are not native to the UNITED
KINGDOM but it is thought they have been here since before the
iceage and are bigger in size than the Roe deer but smaller than
our Red deer.
- The biological structure of the FALLOW DEER is as follows.
- The male FALLOW is known as a BUCK.
- The female FALLOW is known as a DOE.
- The young FALLOW is known as a FAWN.
- The FALLOW buck stands about 1 metre in height and can be up 200lb
in weight
- the FALLOW deer coat can varie in colour from a light gingery brown
with white dots to pure albino or black in colour known as a MENIL
- Again the doe gives birth in spring time and this is normally just
a single birth twins are very rare
- The buck's antlers are different to any other as they are palmated
as you can see in the above pictures
